Our Lead Developer, Phil, is a fully qualified Sea Scout Leader, running Portsmouth 1st Sea Scouts. So, “obviously(!)” he manages the Groups website – and he’s also responsible for the District website and so had to step up to deliver the re-design.

Knowing what he does about websites, you’d think he’d be concerned about the time and effort it was going to take to comply with the new brand guidelines! But, quite the opposite, “As Lead Developer, I really value the opportunity to work on websites that run on our XPOR platform. I get great feedback from this work. In this case I was really impressed by how quickly I could complete this work, and how rewarding it can be to freshen up a website.”
