With a leading presence in the global market of machinery maintenance, the Plant Asset Management (PAM) division of Petrofac plc use XPOR for its content and access control capabilities.  PAM through their CBMnet service (internet enabled condition based maintenance) generate and manage technical reports of machinery performance data through an XPOR web interface. 

Analysis of technical data is performed by specialist engineers based in Southampton.  The results are entered into the web service, for each client to view through their own web interface.  Easy to manage, attractive and professional presentation of vital information, to locations all around the world, from a single office in Southampton.

Plant Asset Management, with their impressive CBMnet service (internet enabled condition based maintenance), required a dedicated server system to host their web service.  The CBMnet service was built on a dedicated X series IBM server, complete with all necessary software PLUS an installation of the XPOR web service.  This was then installed in our climate controlled server room and managed via the Internet through one of our shared leased lines.

This solution offered the greatest level of on-going service having taken advantage of the standard Webree systems for back-up, security, leased line, configured firewall for CBMnet within the practicable budget constraints and provides a secure future for the CBMnet service.
